Hello, and thanks for reading on to find out a little bit about me, and what makes me tick. I’m 42 years old and have been photographing wedding full time now for many years. I love what I do, and it is a genuine pleasure to take photos for a living.
People often comment that I have a very relaxed attitude during the day, and are amazed that I can still capture all the details and moments that happen. Although I shoot in a documentary style, I interact with people on the day like a wedding guest, having a laugh and generally fitting in with the crowd.
Weddings can be quite intimate gatherings, with you surrounded by close friends and family, and so my aim is to really fit in with the day. I find that by having this approach, not only does it allow me to get in amongst the action for the magic moments, but people don’t feel like I’m intruding.
So, what can I tell you about me? I am a keen tennis player and captain at Woodplumpton tennis club where I also enjoy the odd game of snooker. I am a very keen landscape photographer, which combines two of my loves – photography and the great outdoors, and through the winter months I can often be found out and about the length and breadth of the country capturing our stunning scenery.
I hope these few words have given you feel for the type of person I am, and my general approach to wedding photography. Writing this kind of content about myself is pretty much the hardest part of my job because it doesn’t really come naturally to me, but fortunately, you don’t need to be a great writer to take great wedding photographs!
I’ll look forward to meeting you both,
