Phil and Anna booked me to photograph their wedding at Bashall Barn having been recommended by friends. I first worked at this stunning venue about three years ago when it was just beginning to host weddings. I was really looking forward to returning as I knew that they had made substantial changes to the building. I was not disappointed!
The all-new balcony/ceremony location is probably the best I have photographed, and it is surely now one of the best wedding venues in the area. Set in the wonderful countryside around Clitheroe, this working farm has bucket loads of rural charm and yet it still manages to be modern and contemporary.
Following the chilled out preparations in the morning, the ceremony was bathed in gorgeous warm sunlight which gave the whole day a lovely summery feel. After the meal which I can testify was delicious, a rainbow appeared in the far-field, so as quickly as possible we ran around the building, and I managed to capture Phil and Anna in front of it using some lighting equipment to capture an image I am very proud of.
All the magic ingredients were there on this day to create a very memorable day for all the friends and family in attendance. As well as photographing the details and formal groups, I love to capture all the natural moments throughout the day, and I was not short of subjects with loads of smiles and laughter throughout.
I hope you enjoy looking through this small selection of photo’s from the day, and if you are considering getting married, it would be my pleasure to be your wedding photographer.
