Being an Eaves Hall wedding photographer is great fun. Eaves Hall is definitely one of the best venues in the North West. I absolutely love photographing weddings there! From the grand building to the amazing grounds, there are photographic opportunities rounds every corner.
This wedding was up there as one of my favourites of the year. I was assisted by my friend Jim Ross, and between us, we managed to capture the whole day in a documentary style. As soon as the day began, I knew it was going to be a great day. Laura got ready at her parent’s house with her bridesmaids, and Andrew was in the lodge at Eaves Hall.
The day went really smoothly with lots of laughter and a few tears of joy along the way. This is the kind of day where I feel I am not even at work. A couple in love sharing their special day with their friends and family. It was a privilege to be their Eaves Hall wedding photographer. Us photographers are often quite humble about our own work, but I must say that I am very proud of these photographs. The mixture of black and white and colour works really well to tell the story of this couples amazing celebration.
Although it was a bit later in the year, the weather was really kind to us, and we managed to get lots of photography outside, although one of the great things about Eaves hall is that there is so much space and light inside that if the weather isn’t great, there is no problem at all.
Living in Preston, Lancashire, I am not far from Clitheroe, so Eaves Hall is pretty local to me and I have photographed several wedding there over the past few years and I know the place well. If you are getting married at Eaves Hall, and if you enjoy looking through these photographs, drop me a message and I will be happy to discuss your big day.
