After second shooting for Michael at Capture my Big Day a few weeks before, I jumped at the chance to work with him again at Wrenbury Hall in Cheshire. I went to photograph the groom Liam and his groomsman getting ready, and it was a great morning. One of the big advantages of having two photographers at a wedding is that it allows each one to concentrate solely on either the bride or groom. I love photographing the boys, and this was one of the most chilled out mornings I’ve ever photographed. There were loads of great characters, and everyone was having a great laugh, even though the room in which they got ready was absolutely sweltering. To me though, this is all part of the story, and I love documenting all those memories.
The ceremony was outdoors at Wrenbury Hall, and it was one of the hottest and sunniest days I have ever worked on. The bride Jodie looked absolutely stunning, and Liam got emotional when he saw her walking down the aisle which was lovely. After the ceremony, there was plenty of time for the guests to enjoy the afternoon in the sun with the bouncy castle being very popular.
This was my first time working at Wrenbury Hall, and I must say the people who work at and run this beautiful venue are extremely helpful and friendly, and they couldn’t do enough to make the day extra special.
If you are getting married at Wrenbury Hall, and like the idea of having a documentary-style wedding photographer capture your special day, drop me a message and it would be my pleasure.
